McDonald$$s can overcome resistance to change by having clear communication, such as explaining the reasons behind the changes, using trends and improving sustainability. Training and development are also important. Train employees to obtain new skills and help ease them into new technologies. There are also disruption factors such as consumer behavior. Consumers are always changing preferences and McDonald$$s needs to adapt to options that reflect these preferences. There are always regulatory changes as well. McDonald$$s cannot easily control food safety and nutrition.

There will always be conflicts among the stakeholders, such as those between franchisees and the corporate office. Franchisees will be resistant to changes such as remodeling stores and new equipment. Consumers versus environmental advocates.
