Discussion 1: Evaluation Methods

Evaluating the user experience of a particular interface should not consist of a haphazard collection of data with no supporting rationale. Instead, evaluation methods systematically and purposefully use specific skills, tools, and frameworks to provide information on how users perceive the interface or system. Evaluation should always be a step in the process of user experience design. Although there is no one right or wrong way to evaluate a UX design, there are several evaluation methods that provide critical information to inform change for a more positive experience for the user. It is important to choose the appropriate method in order to collect relevant data and draw correct conclusions of the evaluation.

2. Provide one example of each selected method that would best serve the purpose of UX design evaluation.
