In this discussion, I will explain how difficult it may be for employers to send employees back to in-person work and what things they should consider doing in the process. But first, when talking about employers keeping their employees at home being as the initial project, like stated above this took much planning, contingency planning, implementation and etc. These types of actions in the process of removing them from the workplace into their homes will be needed in the same way in moving them back in the workplace. Covid-19 has made working hard for many employees and their employers and now that working out home is becoming the "new norm", many will be accustomed to it and already feel comfortable with the way regulations are being set up, especially since it was struggling to reach these standards with most employees around the world, I believe that they wouldn't want to face the same obstacles just to go back into work again. This will surely create a sense of resistance and tension between the employee and their employer about returning to work. A major factor that will easily be of concern is the health and wellness of employees; with mandated Vaccines just for returning to work or weekly testing it has become a problem to many and plays against their free will of choosing whether to do so when its being mandated as a regulation or rule in most workplaces. Even if they don't necessarily mandate any vaccines, vaccinated employees will be concern with working with un-vaccinated employees and will be frighten everyday coming to work knowing there working with fellow employees that would not feel the need to do weekly testings and is unvaccinated at the same time. Communication and the execution to transition into bringing the employees back into the workplace is a huge key to focus on. Emails, notification, folk talk or whatever form of communication it must take to provide the details and set of rules, regulations, steps or any other helpful information that workers may need must be sent thoroughly and quickly when going back to work. Every employee must be informed by their employer in a calm, gentle execution manner to avoid any complications and arguments and must answer every concerning questions an employee may have. In addition, fiscal and business impacts to the employers will most likely be the same as it is now with employees working at home, since transitioning would really affect the business unless the employees decide to quit just because they would not move back into work or refuse to follow any post covid-19 regulations in the process, then this matter will definitely ease into the business with losing valuable employees to get a day's work done. Last but not least, a logistical impact post covid-19 would be of certain of meeting an obstacle along the way since the change in scenarios between the home and work place with employees will the needs of being paid more since frontline workers were first there to begin with and they were still receiving the same pay as an at-home worker, there might be an issue of unfairness, and with all employees coming back to work, who's to say that their not all frontline workers now that deserve better pay than those who choose not to come back? This project in transitioning employees back into the workplace will need time and planning, it will not be a smooth ride to take but it can surely get done with the proper information and tools to do so, the same way we did before with transitioning in working in our lovely homes.
