Discussion post #1...I don't have a lot of experience with budgeting, but what i have been doing for the last past 4 months is budget per paycheck. I do take it one step further because my paychecks can be different every time. I use the paychecks I receive for one month and use that money for the following month... so I am 1 month ahead. Budgeting is very visual for me and if I use the money I make currently for next months bills, I can plan much better knowing EXACTLY how much I have to work with instead of waiting till I get paid. It's been working great for me...
How would you go develop and implement budgets? I would start by understanding the goals and objectives of my business. Also, i would Collect my bank statements, pay stubs, and receipts for the past few months. This will give a good idea of my income and expenses.
