DO:

• Emphasize that you are not asking employees about their union views or activities
• Answer employee questions about company policies and discuss campaign issues
• Enforce lawful distribution and access rules in accordance with the NLRA for both pro-union and anti-union representatives
• Point out the costs of belonging to a union, such as payment dues and initiation fees and the possibility of fines and assessments
• Point out that a union can always out-promise an employer, but the union can guarantee nothing (What can management do during a union campaign?, 2022).

DON'T:

• Promise benefits
• Interrogate on their union views
• Ask employees if they have signed union authorization cards
• Ask if an employee intends to vote
• Promise a reward for not supporting a union
• Spy on union activities
• Fire, discipline, demote, or penalize in any way for engaging in union activities (What can management do during a union campaign?, 2022).
