This assignment has multiple parts. As with all reports please use the rubric as a general framework, include all components listed below, and provide a clean and edited final copy in the form of a professional style pdf. (25% of the points) Describe generally each of the three following forms of measurement in terms of their use in the selection of this relationship: biodata, interviews, and testing. Use the material from the book to guide you. I expect to see information from the book detailed throughout this report. Please do not just guess what these things are. Separate the three forms of measurement into separate sections. For each of those listed above (i.e., biodata, interviews, and testing): Connect the dots for me. What is each of these analogous to in terms of selecting a significant other? In other words, what would biodata look like when selecting for this type of relationship? What about interviews? Etc. Be descriptive. Go into detail about any sub types or sub components of each of these measurement tools listed in the book. How is it the same to hiring an employee? How is it different? How do the pros and cons of each listed in the book (you have to read for these) overlap with this other context? (e.g., what are some weaknesses of interviewing that are the same for the relationship selection equivalent?) What types of things can we discover from each of these measurement steps? What types of things will still be unknown? For example, what can and cant biodata tell us about someone? (75% of the points) Identify three constructs (i.e., intangible qualities) that you would want to try and measure during this selection process. For each of the three constructs you identify: Tell me why that quality is necessary? (think job analysis) Explain how you would attempt to measure it. Justify how your measurement is both valid and reliable. You cannot just say that they are (no form of measurement is very valid or reliable on their own). You must be realistic justify your choices. The book tells you how to handle low validity and reliability. For constructs, multiple forms of measurement are typically required given that intangibles are hard to measure by nature.
