Do some research name a specific whistle$-$blower case, and respond to the following: What non$-$trivial misconduct was occurring inside the organization that the whistle$-$blower revealed? What protections, if any, were offered to the whistle$-$blower at the time he$/$she contacted someone outside the organization $($the law then might not be the law now$)?$ What consequences came of the whistle$-$blowing for the person and the organization and the organization's industry? Look at "Ethics Reporting Systems" $($Chapter $8$ for Edition $2$; Chapter $9$ for Edition $3)$ and discuss one reporting system or change the organization might have implemented to prevent the whistle$-$blowing from happening in the first place.
