The large ecosystem allows a business to find a solution that fits their needs and reap the benefits of NoSQL solutions (costs, scalability, etc.) Implementing and transitioning to NoSQL from RDBMS can be complex and time-consuming so a dedicated team and time must be available for the business to be successful in their transition. This can cause NoSQL to be a reach for small businesses because they may not have staff skilled in NoSQL or the original RBDMS was produced under contract and it would be too costly to do so again with NoSQL NoSQL systems have enough benefits and flexibility to make them the superior choice for most businesses looking for big data solutions. However, currently, for small businesses it might be too big of an undertaking initially for meaningful benefits while a relational database might be enough to fulfill their needs, especially if they are need to be ACID
