Steve Jobs personality influenced employees in a positive way whether they stayed with the company or left because of him, it challenged them. If Jobs's leadership style led to someone finding another job, what it did was show them that they just arent ready for that level of commitment. Maybe they were not at the skill level he required. It likely pushed them to find something that was more comfortable or more in their wheelhouse skill-wise, which would be an improvement. For the employees who endured I would say it motivated them to reach new heights they thought they couldnt before. They strived to meet his expectations and likely was very proud after achieving their goals.
