Indeed, valuable networks can be created only when you are not looking for immediate benefit. How can you develop your own network BEFORE it may be useful?.

Networking can give many benefits to entrepreneurs. By networking knowledge will be shared and new innovative ideas will be implemented and this may create the opportunity to learn more new things. A network is a key tool in any type of business. Network naturally develops over time. For example- If company A has done work for a customer B then they develop some connection. Now, B introduced A to his clients or known ones. This is how networks developed over time.

3. Use social media. Nowadays, platforms like Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook is a good way to build a network. You can meet people, promote your business, find clients through social media.
4. Try new things. For example, talk as a panel speaker at events, start your own podcast, do an interview, start new channel on Youtube, join organizations. There are many things to do out there. The important thing is open yourself, communicate with public.

All these methods are best way of creating an opportunity space. Therefore, creating an opportunity space is the way to develop connections that might not be useful now but later can be beneficial in time of need.
