Communication has been changing rapidly under the influence of interne technology. Communication is the glue which keep organization together. Many times, because of communication gap and misunderstanding, simple conflict escalate into major issues. In an organization, information runs in horizontal, diagonal, and vertical way. Human face display smore than 200,000 expressions.

There are many barriers when it comes to effective communication. Barrier in communication prevent us from getting clear messages. It is crucial to have sound information.

I cam across status differences at my workplace. Other employee used to be arrogant at housekeepers. I corrected his behavior and requested him to be polite towards the employees lower in status. Many times, organization suffers from the communication barrier stemming from status differences. In an hierarchy, effective communication is very important across the statuses. There are other barriers such as intercultural, language, source credibility, communication overload, time pressures and others. I also came across time pressure in communication. When the deadline approaches near, it is difficult to convey the urgency of matter to the employees working under you. The way urgency is felt by manager, it is important for all other employees to feel the same way(Beck,2016).
