Do you agree with the project management approach? Why or why not?

The main overall purposes of project management is to take a task/project and use the appropriate knowledge, skills and techniques to get the project underway and completed.

Mechanics of a project include all stages of project management.

Initiating - find and assemble a team who can accomlish the task and explain it to them

Planning -this includes everything from the task, to the budget , ideas that can be used an dates of start and completion

Performance - be sure all the tasks and parts of the undertaking are being worked on

Oversee - monitor all areas of the project from teams to budget

Complete - follow thrugh to completion

There are many things to consider when project managing, such as who it involves, the budget and if it is approved by the company, the time alotted to the project, how far will you take the project (Are there different phases of the plan), are all teams in such as management, human resources and the individuals on the team, and also always consider the risks of the project if there are any.
