Do you think there is really any moral difference between setting off a bomb outside a building for some political reason knowing that a certain number of people would be killed and marketing 11 million defective automobiles knowing that a certain proportion of them will explode into flames when rear-ended and burn the occupants alive? 

Do you believe the same mindset is with those who are willing to pay millions of dollars in civil lawsuits rather than fix a defective product? 

Do you see this same mindset in those who participate in organized crime, knowing that although smaller in number, certain individuals are targeted for assassination simply for belonging to another family or refusing to cooperate with extortion? 

Do you believe that our current theoretical explanations for white-collar and organized crime are effective? And as we wrap up learning about criminological theories, overall, do you believe criminological theories are effective in explaining crimes and offenders or do we still have much to learn about people and why they are willing to commit crimes?
