Create a bad-news letter in indirect style based on the following imaginary scenario. (Earls ultimately chose a different route.)
Imagine what follows. After the humane beef crisis blew up, Earls thought very carefully about how the company should respond. In the end, they decided that most consumers actually liked the humane beef concept and that the company should stick with its original plan to source beef from Kansas. However, Earls must communicate their decision to the Alberta Beef Producers. Earls will stick to its guns and go ahead with sourcing humane beef from Kansas, and the producers are not going to be happy.
