Good leadership lay an instrumental part in the success of any criminal justice organization. Good leaders know the capabilities of their teams and can employ them to the best of their capability. They know the team's strengths and weaknesses and help those that lack in certain areas to well round their team members. But I believe the key to a good leader is setting a good example. Knowing the ins and outs of your traits and being able to teach others so that they can reach their full potential. In turn, this will make a team operate better and give everyone a sense of belonging and taking ownership of everything that they do.By understanding organizational behavior managers will be able to accomplish their mission/tasking in the most efficient manner possible. Organizational behaviors lay out an easy-to-follow foundation for leaders to follow to ensure all the needs are being met for mission success.
