Does the organization do a good job in identifying Diversity and Inclusion?

Yes the Thunder bay police department does a great job in identifying diversity and inclusion. They have multiple programs to acknowledge their diversity and inclusion programs. They have a section on their website called as $$Breaking Barriers$$ which tells us about their efforts which they put in to break the systemic barriers which is within the indigenous and other racialized people, so that nobody feels discriminated or looked down. They recognize the need for an action to eliminate these Systemic barriers. They have involved overlooking their policies and moulded it in a way so that they can serve the community members in a fair and unbiased way.

The department has conducted a citizen satisfaction and trust survey conducted in $2019$ which reveals that there is a high level of confidence in the members of their police service. The survey also tell them that they also have a lot of work to do in building trust as an organization towards the community members.
