Purpose

In M$01,$ you learned about supply chains, value chains, virtual value chains, value ecosystems, and how the Internet has both shortened and lengthened distribution channels and changed channel leadership and power. In this assignment, you're going to identify elements of a value chain, diagram three supply chains, explore web platforms, and locate a nontechnical article from the Ivy Tech library.

In this assignment, there are four questions below that you need to answer in one of three formats. You have the opportunity to answer them in written format $($MS Doc$/$PDF format$),$ as a PowerPoint$/$Google Slides or as a video recording. Key here, no matter which format you pick, you need to make sure you are using APA formatting to cite references on the last page of your assibrment.

Answer the following questions:

What benefits does this platform provide for students? For instructors? For school administration? Are there additional functions you would like to see made available on the platform?

Locate a non$-$technical article about how one of the major supply chain technologies is being used by a particular business or brand and be prepared to describe the use and the benefits it provides for both customers and the manufacturer.
