Bill should be able recognize that being able to work as a team can display leaderships qualities in itself. Bill should first acknowledge Racheals concerns and then reevaluate the plan of actions based on their own strengths and weaknesses. Bill should still be apart of the research side of the project even if he believes that Racheal could do it better. This will demonstrate a sense of respect for her while also allowing shared responsibility. In order for Bill to be seen as a successful senior analyst, he must demonstrate that he is able to work on a team. Bill should co-present with Racheal in order to highlight their partnership. Leadership really isn't about self-promotion- it's about being able to work with others while empowering and uplifting them in order for everyone to be successful together.
Racheal should prepare herself before the discussion about the work split. She should state her own goals while presenting her strengths to Bill. She should request to have another chat with Bill in order to properly address her concerns about the project. Proposing a compromise might be the best option when working with someone who has a strong. personality like Bill.
In order for the project to work successfully, Bill needs to take on a collaborative mindset and leadership tactics while Racheal needs to be more proactive and advocate for herself.

In my opinion, I believe that Bill needs to take a step back and realize that the collaboration aspect of the project could make things more beneficial for not only himself but for the both of them. He needs to evaluate that both his and Rachael's certain skill sets can compliment each other. If Bill takes the time to take a step back and drop his ego, he can utilize this opportunity to more than likely better both of their futures and careers. In regards to ethics, he should not make it seem like he did the majority of the work, clearly in a collaboration you have him and Rachael giving their two sense into this project, whether it be through the research portion or the presentation portion, both are absolutely equal in value. Absolutely no one wants to feel undervalued or underappreciated, so rather than make enemies, he should utilize this opportunity and use this collaboration to its fullest extent.
For starters, in regard to Rachael negotiating an outcome that better meets her needs, she first needs to be more assertive. The prompt states that she does not like confrontation, hence why she gets walked on and taken advantage of. Rachael needs to realize that she has a voice and an opinion and those things are extremely important, especially in order for her to better meet her needs in this project. In terms of negotiating, she could offer a compromise to the situation at hand. Such as, preparing the presentation together as well as jointly presenting the final product. In collaboration, it's much better to be working together on all aspects of the project so that they are on the same page of things and can bounce ideas off of each other. If she presents this idea to Bill in this manner, especially with the mindset of being more assertive, I feel it would most definitely push her in the right direction to better meet her needs.

Bill needs to learn how to work in a team and collaborate with co-workers. Sometimes, in the workplace, it is not always about self-recognition, especially if you are being asked to work as a team. The boss will see that Bill can work with others, be a professional team leader, and improve his chances of career advancement. Lastly, working as a team will have a better chance of the project to have a successful outcome.
Rachel should work on a better resolution to work with her career aspirations. If she wants to advance just as badly as Bill does, then she should find a way to discuss with Bill the importance of splitting the work. Not having it so that Rachel does the research, and Bill gets the easy part, which is presenting what she found. Rachel should express to Bill the importance and advantages for both of them if they both work together. If Bill is still stuck on his way only, then maybe Rachel should, as a supervisor or HR, overlook the situation and ensure that the work will be fairly distributed. They are adults, though, so Rachel and Bill should be able to come to a solution without having someone watch over them.
