During the in-class case discussions we are practicing how to manage strategically. For this forum, students are invited to share examples of North American companies that are managing strategically, i.e. they have faced an issue, taken the strategic context into consideration, made and implemented a decision that addresses the issue and the strategic context (400 words max., not including references).

1. Background (What is it?)	Describe the decision the company has made/implemented.
2. Strategic context	Explain why you think the company has chosen this course of action based on the external environment, internal environment and/or their strategic direction.
3. Support your thinking	Provide a minimum of 3 references. Let the class know the source/s you used. (APA style not required)
