During this project, we divided the 16 bullet points by three of each, but one person needed to do four so I decided to take four, which are Statistics on average US salaries, Identity theft statistics, Other USA cultural issues, customs, and values, especially related to business and technology, Cost of real estate (by square foot for an office or plant), wages, and transportation (nearest airport to fly in from France) Also, I was in charge of doing all the handbook editing and formatting with references in alphabetical order in APA style. The challenge that I faced while working on this assignment was finding the identity theft statistics. As for identity theft, it's a serious concern in the US, with the number of cases rising each year. According to the Federal Trade Commission, there were over 1.4 million reports of identity theft in 2020, a significant increase from the previous year. While specific statistics for 2023 and 2024 are not yet available, it's expected that the trend will continue, underscoring the importance of robust cybersecurity measures for any company operating in the US.
