Each individual will be specifically required to select any one organization operating in Pakistan or abroad and write a short research paper covering the following areas:

1) Give a short introduction of selected organization

2) Explain their mission statement and strategic goals

3) Perform a SWOT analysis of organization.

4) Discuss organization chart and different hierarchical levels within organization.

5) Analyze six elements of organization designs i.e. (specialization, departmentalization, span of control, chain of command , formalization, centralization or decentralization)

6) Comment on overall environment of an organization as in, is the environment stable or dynamic? Is the business Simple or complex in nature ? (example, usually technological driven organizations are considered complex business whereas schools are perfect example of simple business).

7) How does managers make decisions; which model of decision making they use?

8) How does a manager motivate its subordinates?

9) What type of leadership style (s) managers use?

10) Comments/recommendation/suggestions?
