Doctors across the globe are in a dilemma as to what to do in this situation. Whom to save and whom to let die. As the number of available ventilators is far less than the requirement In some countries, they are only using the ventilators on the young population and leaving the old infected people on sedation only. Some elderly patients are themselves asking for withdrawal of ventilator support to give them to the young people who have their entire life ahead. Thereby sacrificing their own lives. Considering this scenario, answer the following questions: a. What is the ethical dilemma that the doctors across the globe are facing? (5 marks) (Answer must be in 150 words) b. What would you do if you were an old patient suffering from this virus and next your bed young patient suffering as well and without ventilator support? (5 marks) (Answer must be in 150 words) c.
