Each team will create and present an employee manual for a hotel, restaurant, or country club. The hospitality entity will have at least 50 full-time employees. The maximum length for the manual is 10 pages. Please include a table of contents and/or index.

The focus is Hospitality Law: Highlight the policies and procedures that your company will implement in order to adhere to the legislation that relate to the industry which is involved in the provision of food, lodging, travel and entertainment services for the establishments guest and clients. Please use realistic decision-making scenarios. Consider both legislative compliance and risk prevention. The outcome is to manage legally, so must consider policies and procedures that do not violate any laws or human rights code. Please be mindful of our class discussions about not just meeting statutory requirements but exceeding the minimum requirements in order to limit risk and liability issues.
