Key Elements and Task Task Individual presentation of the effect of strategic marketing challenges on a company of your choice Anticipating and Adapting to Change: Imagine that you have been commissioned as a consultant to offer specialist advice to an organisation which is facing big strategic marketing challenges in the future. Special attention should be given to the effects of the Corona virus and how it might influence the themes below! You should choose one of the following three multi-national organisations: British Airways Nestle Merck The challenges/themes should relate to the following: Changing patterns of consumer behaviour Changing supply chains Embracing a sustainability agenda Dealing with a changing political environment Embracing changes in digital technology, such as big data This assignment involves the following tasks: Critically evaluate the relative importance of the five themes listed above for your chosen organisation. Illustrate how you rate each of the five themes in importance (with 1 being the most important and 5 being the least important) and provide reasons for your decision (40% of mark). 2. Outline how you would offer far-sighted and creative strategic marketing solutions to the organisation which would help it respond to these challenges, both short-term and over the next five-year period. Recommendations can focus on a change of strategy and/or an organisational re- structure, and you can assume that budget is not an issue for your clients (60%). You should present your findings in a Power Point Presentation (max. 1000 words), using a business report format (title page, table of content, introduction, main body of text, conclusions and recommendations, reference list (Harvard Referencing Style). The table of content and the reference list are not part of the word count! Submission Method Elite platform Classroom or other resources Blackboard Collaborate and Elite Special instructions The PP presentation should be submitted on the e-learning platform (Elite). The PP presentation (1000 words +/- 10%) should have a separate title page, table of content and reference list and follow a business report format (Introduction, main body of text and conclusions/ recommendations). This is an academic paper, so make sure you use academic sources if possible and in-text referencing based on Harvard Referencing Style.
