Elijah, while he was so intoxicated that he was not aware of what he was doing, attended an auction and bid to buy an apartment unit. His bid was the winning bid. It was clear to the auctioneer that Elijah was drunk and had no business bidding at an auction. Later, however, after Elijah became sober, he told the auctioneer that he was confirming the contract.
