This could be flashcards with the problem or picture on the front and the answer on the back. This can move to the understanding level by having the students make connections to show they understand the connection between the pictures, problems, or terms to the answers. For math this could be as simple as having 1+1=? On the front with 2 for the answer on the back then following up with asking is this addition or subtraction to show they understand the difference between the two processes. After the first two levels are achieved, they can move on to the applying this could be a worksheet or a project that incorporates the two achieved levels
