Purpose

The goal of this assignment is to develop a basic email strategy and five emails to drive awareness and action.

You are to create a brief email marketing strategy and five emails for your event. Your client is the following:

Determine an email strategy to sell tickets to your event. While you are to create five emails, you must determine the optimal number of emails to send about this campaign. This must be based on evidence and researched best practices.

You must also determine when (frequency) these emails will be sent.

As A/B testing is critical in digital marketing, there must be a component of A/B testing discussed. Use research to determine what elements to A/B test in email marketing.

You must also include what your call-to-action will be and your incentives. Conduct research on calls-to-action and incentives to ensure your recommendations are based on evidence.

Finally, you must include your target audience (aligned with target market criteria) and reasons for choosing this target market (based on research). Develop five emails that have a consistent look and feel. Use resources to help you develop your content ideas, be sure to reference any resources used. One email should introduce the event, the second should be a follow-up, and the final email should be a reminder email for those who have registered. The other two of your choosing.
