(( Evaluate this proposal as good, excellent or poor, with a mention of the reason ))
1. Introduction
Inventory management is the process of overseeing and controlling the movement of goods within an organization, from procurement to sales. An inventory management system for electronic devices is a software solution designed to help businesses track, manage and control the flow of electronic devices, from the moment they are ordered to the time they are sold. It helps organizations to optimize their inventory levels, minimize waste, and ensure that products are always in stock and readily available for sale. This leads to improved customer satisfaction and increased profitability for the business.
2.Problem Statement
The problem with managing electronic devices in inventory is the complexity and fast pace of the industry. Electronic devices have a short lifespan and can become obsolete quickly, leading to stock obsolescence and waste. Keeping track of constantly changing product demands, stock levels, and supplier information can be challenging and time-consuming. In addition, manual processes are prone to errors and inconsistencies, which can result in stock shortages, overstocking, and lost sales.
3.Objectives
1. Improve efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
2. Reduce the cost of manual labour for inventory management tasks.
3. Enhance the overall supply chain management process.
4. Providereal-timevisibilityintoinventorylevelsanddemandpatterns.
5. Facilitate decision-making through data-driven insights.
6. Minimize the risk of stock obsolescence and overstocking.

4.Methodology
To complete the project, we decided to use the Waterfall model with prototype model together, in this approach, the initial phase of the project focuses on gathering and defining requirements, followed by the creation of a prototype. This prototype is then evaluated and refined based on feedback from stakeholders, which helps to validate the requirements and ensure that the product is aligned with their expectations. Once the requirements are finalized and the prototype is approved, the remaining phases of the Waterfall model are followed, including design, testing, and implementation. This approach allows for a structured development process, while also providing the opportunity to validate requirements and make adjustments early in the development cycle, leading to a more efficient and effective end product.

decision-making through data-driven insights. The methodology used, the Waterfall model with a prototype, ensures that the system is developed through a structured process while allowing for early validation of requirements and making adjustments as needed. The project has a defined timeline and will be developed using tools such as Visual Studio 2019, C# language, and a SQL Server database.
