Evaluating Services This activity is important because consumers evaluate services differently than they evaluate goods during and after the purchase process. Services are unique in that cannot be displayed, demonstrated, or illustrated and therefore consumers cannot evaluate all of the characteristics of services prior to purchase. Because services are more difficult to evaluate, services often contain search, credence, and experience properties. The goal of this activity is to demonstrate your understanding of the difference between search properties, credence properties, and experience properties.
