Even if you are in a group for your proposal, this is an individual assignment, meaning everyone does their own Brainstorming Topics assignment, whether working solo or in a group. Here's what I want you to do to generate ideas: You can create your own table following steps $1-3$ below, or$....$ if you want to skip a step, I invite you to download the Research Essay Brainstorming table in $.$docx format that I prepared. And you still must figure out the $"$So What" of your topic$--$later because, this is not a report but a paper where you will be arguing, exploring, etc. But for now, just figure out what you are gravitating towards in general.Once you have identified one item in each category, now at the top of your page list your top three from for the top $3$ bold topics. This is a great place to start your research.Upload your completed table of potential topics by Sunday.You are at the point now to think about how these topics are in your life right now and, since they cropped up in your interest table, if there is something you would like to propose to a real person to make something better. For example, in my list below, I might want to propose to a CRC to have a RBG week or bring in a panel of local female judges to promote more women go into law school; or I might propose a local restaurant they provide liquid meals; or propose to a local business that music would increase productivity and morale.
