EXCEL QUESTION!! - Need to know the correct excel formula Directions: Read the following problems and identify those that require the Central Limit Theorem (CLT). For those questions, what information indicated use of the CLT? For all other problems, state why the CLT is not appropriate. Finally, calculate probabilities. Include sketches, Excel commands, write the problem you are solving i.e. P(x-bar<___). Record answers to 4 decimal places. Question:

Cholesterollevelsinmenaged18-24arenormallydistributedwithameanof178.1mg/100mLandastandarddeviationof40.7mg/100mL.

  1. Whatistheprobabilitythattheaveragecholesterollevelof9randomlyselectedmen,aged18-24,ishigherthan190mg/100mL?

I know that CLT is not appropriate because the sample size(n) is less that 30. My main question is what is the correct excel formula for this problem:

is it: =NORM.DIST( "x-bar", x,x, TRUE) because it is a sample, even though sample size is less than 30? or is it: =NORM.DIST(x,,, TRUE) because the sample is less than 30? I know I use this for an individual, but I am not sure what I do for sample sizes less than 30.
