1. The Future Homemakers Club is making canvas tote bags and leather tote bags for a money making project. Both types of tote bags will be lined with canvas and have leather handles. For the canvas tote bag, they need 4 yards of canvas and 1 yard of leather. For the leather tote bags, they need 3 yards of leather and 2 yards of canvas. Their advisor has purchased at least 56 yards of leather and at most 104 yards of canvas. If the club buys; each canvas bags for RM 140 and sells it for RM160 and buys each leather bag for RM 200 and sells it for RM 235, determine the number of canvas and leather bags that they need to make for a maximum profit. What is the maximum profit?

2. Lois makes banana bread and nut bread to sell at a bazaar. A loaf of banana bread requires 2c flour and 2 eggs. A loaf of nut bread takes 3c flour and 1 egg. Lois has 12 c flour and 8 eggs on hand. She makes $2 profit per loaf of banana breed and $2 per loaf of nut bread. To maximize profits, how many loaves of each type should she bake?
