The most significant reason I ride my bike everywhere is that it means I do not have to pay for any gas, insurance, or maintenance costs. All I need is the fuel my legs provide on the pedals, and that is free. Another major factor though, is that I have lost so much weight as I have been able to exercise so much more. When I was driving everywhere, I did not take time out of my schedule to exercise. Now I exercise all the time because going somewhere takes pedal power Last, but not least, I also like biking because it is easier to get around the cityvi Traffic is often congested, but on my bike, I can easily cut through by Hopping off and walking the bike down the sidewalk when a lane is blocked. I do not miss my car at all
