The similarities and differences between leadership and management is that "both leadership and management involve influence, but leadership is about seeking constructive change, and management is about establishing order." (Northouse 2020, pg. 7).

When it comes to management, they are the ones who facilitate trainings for the agency, specific skillsets, documentation. Management also is utilized to train new hires or those who transfer to another position on a particular role. Leaders focus on developing personally and professionally as they continue to enhance their learning.

Managers can become leaders by performing leadership responsibilities which include effective communication whether its good or bad. Managers also can become leaders by encouraging others to enhance professional and personal productivity.

Managers can also become leaders by practice some of the following leadership practices: "Idealized influence (charisma, modelling), intellectual stimulation (innovative, problem solving), capacity to endure teamwork and collaboration, creating positive change." (Vito, 2020).
