The problem observed at Second Harvest is the lack of knowledge about the needs of the communities served. Consequently, the program does not effectively meet service users' needs. Define the business case. The business case is the foundation of a project plan. It is the first step in the process and must identify the distinct reason for the project (Stroh, 2019). The problem initially appears to be the absence of regard for religious and ethnic preferences during Second Harvest's food distribution. However, the real problem the project plan addresses is how Second Harvest's lack of knowledge of service users' needs has negatively impacted the quality of its services. Currently, the organization serves a mixed community, but data on food preferences may be outdated. The undertaking is expected to uncover existing community needs and suggest improvements for enhanced food distribution that suits service users' preferences and satisfies the organization's mission
