• WBS structure -the WBS structure notes the level 0, 1, and 2 tasks.
• Acceptance criteria - what are the things that the customer is specifically looking for to accept the project for final handover
• Milestone schedule - (see the major deliverables above)- now add dates and who (an actual person - make up names if needed) is responsible to complete (DON"T JUST USE TITLES!!)
• Developed project schedule-This should be all of the tasks on the project (from the WBS), start date, end date, predecessors, and who is responsible for completing the work (name and title)
• Key assumptions - what are some things you can assume about this project?
• Stakeholder engagement - this is a table of all stakeholders, their roles on the project, and anything else of importance.
• Communication plan - this is a different table than the stakeholder plan. It notes the specific communication, the frequency of the communication, the medium of the communication, who is responsible for the communication, etc...
• Constraints - what are the constraints (note: time, cost, schedule, and budget are not constraints... what about those things are constraints??)
• Major risks/ risk management plan - the overall risks to the project success and WHY they are risks
• The risk response plan should be a table that notes the detailed risks and if you are going to accept, avoid, mitigate or transfer the risk and WHY
• The risk mitigation plan should be in a table that notes the detailed risk and how you will mitigate and what the contingency plan is. The mitigation plan happens BEFORE the project starts and the contingency plan is what happens when the project is in flight.
• The change management process - this is a detailed review of the change process. It should note what the change process is, who manages the changes, who can submit the changes, who authorizes the changes, where the changes are located, etc...Approval requirements - who approves the project? What about changes?
