First, choose two competing companies in the same market, e$.$g$.$ As much as possible, try to ensure that this is a comparison of companies that do similar things.

Second, review and take notes on how each company uses social media$$whenever possible compare on at least two platforms $($Twitter$,$ Facebook, Instagram, etc$)$

Third, prepare a brief $(1$:$30-2$:$00)$ long presentation in which you talk about how each company projects an online presence through social media. You might discuss how the companies operate or speak across different platforms $($how one company uses Twitter differently from Instagram, for example$)$ as well as how the companies you are comparing differ on the same platform $($how do their two Twitter presences compare, for example$).$

Finally, upload your notes$/$impressions for the presentation to Blackboard and come to class on the due date prepared to speak.
