1. Review, revise, and rewrite as needed the vision, mission, and values statements in a, b, c below. Discuss each of the three areas under its heading, and revise or rewrite it. If an element is not present, create one. If you revise or create something, be clear on what they have by reproducing it, and be clear on what you add or create.
2. Vision: Is it inspiring? Does it bring the organization together? Is it memorable? Easily said or too lengthy? Thoughtful or flippant?
3. Mission: Does it describe what the organization does and who and where target customers are?
4. Values: Are they clear, stated adequately, thoughtful, useful?

3. construct a SWOT. If not one present, create one using the website and other available data.

4. Assess and revise goals as needed to result in at least three SMART goals.

5. Select an overall strategy for this organization. If a government organization, select some or all from among partnering, collaborating, and privatization. If a not for profit it will typically be partnering, collaboration, or differentiation. If a for profit, select either cost leadership or differentiation. Briefly explain your selection, but name an overall strategy they use or one you think they should be using.
