Five clients who are looking to purchase computers. You will need to select two of these clients
Question:
Five "clients" who are looking to purchase computers. You will need to select two of these clients and provide them with hardware proposals. Your hardware proposals can be for workstations and/or laptops, but you must tailor the hardware configurations to meet the needs of your clients. You will need to decide what operating system will work best and if your clients need any other software, like specific browser(s), or Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Does your client also need certain peripherals, like a webcam or a printer? If so, consider those needs in your proposal as well. Once you have decided on the operating system and other software, you will need to research minimum system requirements and select two systems that meet the requirements. For example, if you are proposing a system for an architect, you might recommend a Windows-based PC that is capable of using drafting software such as AutoCAD. You might recommend an Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor and 32 GB RAM. Your hardware proposals should include estimates for actual systems that you have configured online. The systems can be branded or custom-built, meaning you have selected parts that can be integrated into a chassis. Your submission should consist of two proposals, one for each client. At a minimum, each proposal should: 1. Introduce the reader to the client's needs, 2. provide a discussion of what the minimum and recommended system requirements are based on those needs, 3. present two options that meet/exceed those requirements, and 4. recommend one solution for purchase. In your recommendation, please make a clear case for why the option you have selected is the "right" one for your client. Be sure, if you decide to use the same hardware options for both of your clients, that you have "right-sized" the systems for their needs and are able to justify your recommendations..
