Question: Following data received from particular industry, 0 . 5 k g s of air enters the heat exchanger at 4 0 0 K , then

Following data received from particular industry, 0.5kgs of air enters the heat exchanger at 400 K , then the air enters an isentropic gas turbine at 1400 K ,1000 kPa and leaves at 500 kPa .
Part-I:
Determine:
The heat transfer from the heat exchanger,
Temperature of the air at the exit of turbine and
Power output of the turbine.
Assumption:
For Pipe
Length =10m, Pipe Diameter =0.2m, Roughness =40m
Hint:
Use Pipe (Heat Exchanger) and Simple Turbine.
Give mass source at inlet boundary condition of the heat exchanger.
Part-II:
After doing the preliminary simulation analysis with Flownex with the above data, the company expectation is that the power produced by the turbine should be 140 kW .
As a design engineer how will you use Flownex simulation tool to suggest the company a suitable change in value of mass flow rate of turbine only to achieve the required power output of 140 kW from the turbine.
Following data received from particular industry,
