Question: For the NameSurfer and Name Record project - I dont know where to place the text file (names_data.txt) to make the program run I am

For the NameSurfer and Name Record project - I dont know where to place the text file (names_data.txt) to make the program run I am getting this error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1 at java.lang.String.substring(Unknown Source) at NameRecord.(NameRecord.java:21) at NameSurfer.main(NameSurfer.java:26)

I think the error is related to the placement of the text file. In the past I put it in the eclipse folder on my desktop but that is not working this time. Someone said it needed to be in the JRE directory but I cant figureout how to get it in there (import-isnt helping)
