Football quarterback, Joe Strong has asked sports attorney and sports agent Bill Highly of the Dewee, Winn and Howe law firm to represent him in his dealings with his career. Strong is currently playing for the Louisville Bulls football team. Attorney Highly already represents other professional athletes, including other football players and, more specifically, two players for the Bulls including another quarterback for the Bulls, Brian Giant. In order to determine whether Billl Highly OR the Dewee Winn and Howe law firm can represent Joe Strong , Marilyn, your supervising attorney, asks you, the paralegal, to help determine whether or not a conflict of interest exists. Based on your readings, write up a memorandumusing the suggested template provided. In your memorandum, address the questions below. Be sure to discuss and apply the ABA Model Rule 1.7 in your analysis.

1. Discuss whether it would be a conflict of interest for Bill Highly to represent Joe Strong because Highly represents other professional athletes.
2. Discuss whether it would be a conflict of interest for the lawfirm (not Bill Highly, specifically) to represent Joe Strong because Highly represents other professional athletes.
3. Discuss whether it would be a conflict of interest to represent Joe Strong because Highly represents other football players on the same team as Strong.
