For this assignment, you will complete the Conflict Styles Inventory for two different people.

This means you will complete this inventory twice:

• the first time with Person 1 in mind
• the second time with Person 2 in mind
• NOTE: Person 1 and Person 2 must reflect two different types of relationships, e.g., family, friend, significant other, co-worker
  • if Person 1 is a family member, then Person 2 cannot also be a family member
  • if Person 1 is a family member, then Person 2 must be a friend, co-worker, or significant other --> any non-family member relationship

One of the goals of this assignment is learn whether our conflict style may differ in relation to the person with whom we are in conflict. This is not busy work. This assignment will help you understand something about yourself and how you approach conflict in relationships.
