For this final assignment, you will provide a reflection on lessons learned in this course ( SOCI-200-45: Social Justice Perspectives). This type of reflective exercise can be valuable to you in each of your courses, as it gives you the chance to reinforce new learning that you can apply to future coursework and to your professional practices.

Use these three prompts to get started, and add any additional reflections that would be helpful to you. Write your reflection as a two and half to three page essay (12 pt font, double spaced) in a narrative format without headings or bullets.

1. Review the posts you wrote in Week 1, which were your starting point for SOCI-200. How would you compare where you are now after having taken SOCI-200 with where you were at the beginning of the course? Address, in particular, any evolution in your thoughts or questions about the following issues that are at the heart of our course objectives:
   • The values that constitute social justice in theory and practice.
   • The relationship between social justice and civic responsibility.
   • Social justice implications in specified industries and their associated professions.
   • Issues of social justice that are communicated through creative expression in the arts.
2. When you consider your conversations with classmates over the term, which resources shared and/or discussions did you find most helpful in sparking your questions about social justice issues? Were any classmates' posts particularly thought-provoking? If so, which ones and why?
3. As noted at the beginning of the term, this is an inquiry-based course. It's beneficial to reflect on your own awareness and actions, and of the realities of others' perspectives and experiences of social justice. Share insights about the continuous development of your own perspectives about social justice.
