For this lab, we will be completing the Normalization step for several of your entities from your E/R diagram.

You will normalize your developed entities (from previous lab) to 3rd normal form - show ALL steps - 1st normal form, 2nd normal form, and 3rd normal form.

Some example entities are below (your labwork should address at least 2 entities and how they are transformed towards 3rd NF, with creating of additional entities as needed):

EMPLOYEE

DEPARTMENT

TREATMENT

TEST

After going through your steps of normalization - add in your Foreign keys based on your cardinalities from your E/R diagram. You will add new attributes to several of your tables.

More instructions: To complete the Lab 3, you only need to work on this in MS Word. The ERD is not necessary for this lab. Keep in mind, if the relationship between two entities is the many-to-many, then you need one more table in the 3NF. Add some tables that you think are needed for normalization.
