For this milestone, development teams will prepare well formatted PowerPoint presentations in which all issues relevant to the IS development discussed in the business case are presented to the IS Steering Committee. This presentation should be professionally delivered with all team members participating. The objective of this presentation is to present compelling arguments supporting the IS development as well as the development approach selected by the development team. In addition, the business case and presentation should discuss the new IS services organisation value, business requirements, preliminary findings about potential user experiences and draft user interface designs. The business case should include a project skeleton in which all tasks are identified and appropriately scheduled. The business case and presentation could also include a preliminary database schema (say normalized to 3NF). The presentation should allow engagement with the steering committee.
