For this post, we're going to keep it light and let you guys practice some easier paragraph writing before you jump into your narrative. We'll do that by look at narratives that we enjoy!

Write a brief paragraph of 9-16 sentences in length that tells us what your favorite story is and explains why. Include major details that support specific things you like about it and give minor details for those major details that elaborate further. Make sure you conclude the paragraph with a closing thought. The major details could be aspects of the story itself or it could be more personal reasons, like the themes and messages that resonate with you.

Your favorite story could be a movie, a book, a television show, or even a story told by a comedian you like! Take time to stop and brainstorm what story you want to tell us about. This is a light activity, but it will require you to use the principles in paragraph writing you've been learning about recently in Along These Lines.

Make sure you look carefully at your sentence structure and tone. Treat this paragraph like you are sharing your thoughts with a close friend
