For this project you will complete the following tasks: #1: You will choose 5 similar retailers (they should all provide similar types of products/ services). #2: Create your own definition of excellent customer service. #3: Rate the retailers on the effectiveness of their customer service based on your definition from #2 and your experience with these retailers. Also, rate these retailers on their cleanliness, general ambiance, signage and attractiveness. You may choose to develop a scale and chart to show your ratings. Be sure to rate all the retailers based on the same criteria. #4: Which retailer did you find to be the best and why? Then answer: How important is customer service to you? Did any retailers surprise you? Did you purchase anything? Your written report should include: - A cover page with: Customer Service Project: Part 1; centered in the upper half of the page, followed by your name (first name, middle initial, last name) on the second line, with Finger Lakes Community College, BUS 146 and the date on the last line. - (#1), Your list of retailers (#2), your definition (#3), your ratings for each retailer, (#4) answers to #4. - Part 1- Length: 3 page minimum, double spaced with normal, 1 margins; excluding the cover page 12pt. font. Be sure to watch your spelling, grammar and clarity of sentences.
