For this project you will need to select a process that could use a PLC for control. Use the attached file for the requirements.

You will need to design your process to meet the minimum requirements outlined, describe the order of operations and function of your process, and draw a ladder logic diagram for your process.

You may draw the ladder logic diagram manually or using software.

Requirements:

Write a short paper describing a process of your choice, provide a sketch of your process, and provide a ladder logic diagram fo

You should choose a simple manufacturing process (i.e. conveyor belt, garage door, filling operation, etc.)

Your process must have the following inputs:

A safety factor (such as 2 pushbuttons or a safety sensor)

An emergency stop button

At least 3 additional sensors (i.e. photo sensors, fill sensors, some combination, 10etc.)

Your process must have the following outputs:

At least 1 motor or solenoid

At least 3 indicator lights (pilot lights)
