For this week's in-class assignment, you are going to court. (ha ha). You will be assigned a role as being either the jury, judge, plaintiff, or defendant in a specific law case that will be assigned. You will have time to think about how you want to proceed with this case, present your defense in class then you will provide your defense in a brief paragraph and submit.

Example: 

The plaintiff and defendant will have time to present his/her case to the court, the judge will then make their decision of guilty/not guilty or dismiss the case.

 

Law Case

Woman died after a car-bicycle crash involving a psychiatrist's patient who prescribed medication to the car's driver. The family of the defendant is suingthe psychiatrist alleging that the physician should have warned the woman driving to not drive while under the influence of the medication. What is your view on this case as the jury?
